X-BK-H Thermally Broken, Horizontal Fastening System
The X-BK-H system has a horizontally oriented substructure and will accommodate up to 7 1/2 inches of continuous exterior insulation.
Install Horizontally to Accommodate the Panel Design
The X-BK-H system is often an excellent solution for panel designs where the installer must adjust the panel fastening substructure to account for wind loading and dead loads (due to panel weight). Simply install the bracket horizontally with an L or T profile.
Continuous Insulation
Our BK-H brackets provide a cavity depth from 4 5/16 inch to 7 1/2 inch cavity, allowing for continuous exterior insulation. Deeper cavity depths can be achieved with project-specific solutions.
Use X-BK-H for Concealed or Exposed Installations
Fasten the panels to the substructure with color-matched stainless steel Torx head screws or color-matched rivets.
Thermally Broken
Use thermal break pads to reduce thermal transfer to the building.
