X-BK-V Thermally Broken, Vertical Fastening System
The X-BK-V is a cost-effective, vertical architectural panel substructure system. It accommodates continuous insulation, facilitates panel leveling, and can be thermally broken. Recommendation: use stainless steel color-matched fasteners to extend the cladding life.
Vertically Oriented Rainscreen System
The X-BK-V bracket system uses vertically oriented L and T profiles to create a drained and back-ventilated rainscreen.
Up to 11 ½ Inches of Continuous Insulation
The X-BK-V architectural panel fastening system easily creates cavity depths from 2-1/2 inches to 11 1/2 inches for continuous exterior insulation. Xkelex bracket systems are available in various depths to suit the project.
Adjust/Plumb the Wall Cladding
Xkelex bracket systems enable the installer to adjust the plane of the wall cladding when the wall is out of plumb or not as plumb as the design requires.
Thermally Broken
Use a 1/4 inch (6mm) snap-fit thermal break pad with these brackets to reduce thermal transfer to the building.
Use X-BK-V for Exposed or Concealed Installations
Fasten the panels to the substructure with color-matched stainless steel Torx head screws or color-matched rivets.
