X-CS25 Concealed Fastening System
Traditional Rainscreen Design Used Worldwide
The X-CS25 is a traditional 1 1/2 inch depth concealed system using vertical Hat and Zee profiles with a horizontal rail. The installer uses back clips to hang the panel on a horizontal rail. It is suitable for many types of claddings and high-rise construction.
1-1/2 Inch Rainscreen
A rail component (X-RL25) attaches horizontally to the vertical Hat, Zee, or J profile, creating a 1-1/2″ depth air and drainage plane for rainscreen ventilation
Easy to Level
The installer levels the rail before attaching it. The installer fastens back clips (X-CL25 and X-CL25-L) to the cladding panel and then hangs the panel on the horizontal rail. The back clips provide minor leveling adjustments.
Ideal for Large Format Panels
The X-CS25 system’s leveling capability makes it ideal for large format panels.
Control Panel Expansion Direction
Spacing between clips is typically determined by project-specific requirements. Depending on the cladding material, the installer creates either one or two fixed-point attachments to control panel expansion direction.
The fasteners to attach back clips vary according to the panel manufacturer’s requirements.
Always consider project wind load and project-specific engineering when selecting and designing a concealed rainscreen system.
